Singer Songwriter Joey Young’s music infuses the vintage folk style of the 1970’s and the contemporary beachy genre of Zac Brown and Jack Johnson.

 Joey’s upcoming album, Escape Artist, is an effort to distill life down to the best places, memories and moments within.  Currently Joey spends his time on the coasts, keys and islands of Florida's gulf coast sailing, paddle boarding, and performing with his faithful dog "Buoy". 

Born and raised in coastal Alabama -home of the legendary beach traveler and troubadour Jimmy Buffet- Joey’s role models were guitarists and songwriters like Lindsay Buckingham, James Taylor, and Steven Stills.  Joey is also a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston and has performed over 2000 live shows.
